Tanja Niemann
Tanja Niemann is Executive Director of the Consortium Érudit and has been acting director of the Digital Publishing Center at the Université de Montréal from 2009 to 2011. She is involved with Érudit since 2006.
Tanja holds a communication degree from the University of Leipzig in Germany where she specialized in Book Studies and Publishing. Responsible for the publisher’s relations and collection development, she has been involved in large-scale digitization projects including dissemination strategies and marketing.
She is familiar with technology-intensive scholarly publishing projects. During the last years, Tanja has accompanied many journal publishers in the transition from traditional publishing to the digital environment including the Open Access publishing models.
