Yves Gingras
Yves Gingras is a Professor in the History Department at the Université du Québec à Montréal and holds the Canada Research Chair in the History and Sociology of Science (CHSS).
He has published widely and his most recent books are: L’Impossible dialogue. Sciences et religions (Montréal/Paris: Boréal/PUF, 2016), Sociologie des sciences (Paris: PUF, 2d ed., 2017), Controverses. Accords et désaccords en sciences humaines et sociales (Paris: CNRS Éditions, 2014), Les dérives de l’évaluation de la recherche. Du bon usage de la bibliométrie(Paris: Raisons d’agir, 2013; Bibliometrics and Research Evaluation: Uses and Abuses, Cambridge: MIT Press, 2016).
He is a member of the advisory committee of Scientia Canadensis: Canadian Journal of the History of Science, Technology and Medecine.
