School, education, teaching
There are few places as common, few spaces as social, as a school playground or a classroom. The integration of newcomers into Canadian curricula is therefore both a necessity and a challenge for the country. How will Canada respond to the specific challenges posed by the schooling of the many, recently-arrived refugee children? On these issues and on many others, the sciences of education offer analysis, enlightenment and even recommendations that vary according to the roles that the sciences seek to play. While this area of research is often a fertile terrain of strains, tensions and contradictory advice, it is also extremely dynamic, as evidenced by the many journals in the field. We propose to get you better acquainted with the Revue des sciences de l’éducation and to discover a selection of other journals in the “Focus” section.
