Chloé Leclerc
Chloé Leclerc is professor at the School of Criminology, Université de Montréal. She is a regular researcher at the Centre international de Criminologie Comparée (International Centre for Comparative Criminology, CICC) and a member of the research team Accès au droit et à la justice (Accessing law and justice, ADAJ).
Her research focuses on the judicial and penal system, with a particular focus on the decision making of its actors (judicial actors, victims, defendants). She currently studies decisions involving plea bargaining, the financial and social costs of justice, the problem accessing a conditional release and the evolution of the court practices in Canada.
Since 2015, she is the managing editor of the journal Criminologie.
